Pets Snare Relief From Liquid Shade Portable Misting Station During Dog Days of Summer. Fur + Heat + Humidity Add Up to Tough Times for Outdoor Pets! Santa Clara, CA - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fido, Boots, Polly, and Flicka are all flocking to the cooling mist of Liquid Shade’s Portable Misting Station as pet owners search for new ways to provide relief to their furry or feathered friends from the hot sun during the dog days of summer.

Pets are people too, or at least their owners think so and so it comes as no surprise that Liquid Shade’s innovative new product is seen as a mechanism to keep their cherished animals cool and calm even when outdoors..

The Portable Misting Station is a self-contained battery operated cooling system that provides instant relief for heat-stressed pets by lowering ambient temperature up to 30° Fahrenheit. It refreshes and energizes animals within a 10-foot radius of the unit. A rechargeable battery operates the Station continuously for up to 10 hours and the rugged, durable self-contained device is easily transported across the lawn or the barnyard on durable solid plastic wheels. The Mister contains a 2.9-gallon reservoir and achieves evaporative cooling by transferring water molecules as it sprays mist into the air. At the top of a telescopic riser that extends up to 70” high, is a quick disconnect mist head with four brass mist nozzles. Its double filtration system clears the water before delivering it to the misting nozzle at the top of the unit. Liquid Shade’s Portable Misting Station is available at leading North American retail and e-tail pet stores at a cost of $399.95. According to the American Pet Products Association’s 2009/2010 National Pet owners Survey, 62% of all US households, in roughly 71.4million homes, own a pet. Of those households, 45.6 million own a dog; 38.2 million own a cat; 5.3 are homes to a bird and 3.9 million house a horse. The pet population in these homes for these categories alone is just shy of 200 million animals in the United States (199.4 million).....read more.
